Who we are

Nik grew up in the greater Portland–Vancouver area with strong family roots and a love for the Northwest; he has made it his home for more than 30 years. With a passion for all sports, Nik graduated from West Linn High School in 1997 and went on to Willamette University in Salem, Oregon, where he majored in business economics. The Chicago White Sox drafted Nik in 2001. After seven years in professional baseball, he returned home in 2008 and started Northwest Sports Management Group, an agency specializing in the representation of professional baseball players from the Northwest.

With a goal to connect young players with professional-level mentorship and instruction, he founded NW Futures. Futures Baseball Academies have since promoted athletes to the collegiate and professional ranks through camps, clinics, lessons, and team programming across our Northwest and Southwest markets. It remains his vision to cultivate and instruct baseball players of all ages for years to come.
